Maple Leaf Traction 1958

In 1958 Ken Spengler and five friends set off on a camping trip to Ontario. Early in the film are scenes at Greenfield Village and the crossing of the Ambassador Bridge into Canada. Ken and friends visited and filmed the London & Port Stanley, Grand River Railway (briefly), Niagara St. Catharines & Toronto, and finally PCCs and Peter Witt cars in Toronto on TTC.
You’ll also see some Canadian steam.

Trolley Sparks and Coal Smokein the East
Mostly filmed in 1960, our film opens in 1966 as en and friends rode Pittsburgh’s Fineview line on its last day of operation. The balance dates from 1960 and inludes footage in Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.
As an added bonus to those who also like steam, you’ll see operations on the Blue Ridge Railway and the Buffalo Creek & Gauley among others.
