Philadelphia's Market Street Trolley Subway Live and in-person!

Longtime CERA member and presenter George Gula is making the trip in from Pennsylvania to bring us his fascinating take on the Philadelphia Market Street Trolley Subway.
It’s a line that’s still running today! George will speak on the subway from its inception through the present day, as it still operates. In Philadelphia, it is known as the Subway-Surface as the car lines leave the tunnels and then operate on the streets of southwest Philadelphia. We’ll look at the lines in all their glory, past and present.
Our in-person meetings are currently held at the club room of the 899 S. Plymouth Court condominium building. We begin promptly at 7 p.m. and meetings are open to CERA members. Bringing guests, however, is encouraged and membership forms will be available on site.
