EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA RAILWAY
Join us again at the end of October when Pennsylvania’s own George Gula presents his highly regarded discussion of the Eastern Pennsylvania Railway. Chartered way back in the 1860s, it would operate well into the 1930s. One of several lines in eastern Pennsylvania’s Anthracite Country, it ran from Jim Thorpe to Pottsville.
University Center is located between Congress Parkway and Harrison Street. The Loop River Room is on the second floor. After entering the lobby, go through the glass doors on your left for stair and elevator access. Doors open at 6 p.m.
